Phenomenal Rise in Miley Cyrus Singing Voice and Career…

Miley Ray Cyrus is a famous American pop singer and actress who was born in November, 1992, and noted for Miley Cyrus singing voice.  When she was 8 years old, her family transferred to Toronto, Canada at the time when her father was filming the TV series, Doc.  She was inspired to pursue her goal in acting when she watched how her father filmed the show.

When her father, Billy Ray, brought her along to watch Mamma Mia, a 2001 Mirvish production at Royal Alexandria Theater, it became the ultimate turning point in her life.  She declared to her father that she wanted to be a famous actress.  So, she started taking-up acting and singing classes at the Toronto-based Armstrong Acting Studio.  Then, she was given the role of a girl by the name of Kylie in Doc.

Not long after that, her 1st solo album, Breakout, was released that gained an international success, and she became listed in Time magazine’s top 100 in the year 2008 for her Miley Cyrus singing voice.  The following year, she started cultivating her image as an adult through The Time of Our Lives, a kind of extended play featuring a mainstream of pop sounds, and filming of The Last Song recently which is a drama film featuring a coming-of-age scenario.

Miley Cyrus singing voice is successfully featured in her best-selling single entitled Party in the USA released in 2009.  Then, her studio album named Can’t be Tamed was recently released presenting a new style in dance pop sound.  However, with the line of success knocking at her doorsteps, she was observed to be having a horse voice, and she has some troubles singing high notes as compared before.

Being concerned with the health issue, her parents brought her to a doctor for a check-up.  She was diagnosed to be afflicted with early stages of “nodule.”  She was recommended to rest her voice for at least 3 weeks without singing or even humming.  Her doctor also recommended that she must learn how to warm-up her voice.

According to Renee Grant-Williams who was Miley’s trainer in singing before she rose up to fame, Cyrus’ nodule has been a long-time problem.  Even at the age of 12, Miley was already having an adult voice.  In fact, she used to say that her voice was sounding like German shepherd with horse voice whenever she hit high notes.  But whatever it is, Miley Cyrus singing voice will remain in the hearts of her fans.

Focus on movie career and 4th studio album entitled Can’t Be Tamed

Following the 2010 devastating earthquake in Haiti, Miley Cyrus singing voice participated in the charity singles named “Everybody Hurts” and “We are the World” for the Benefit of Haiti.  Production of Can’t Be Tamed album started on January, 2010 and released on June of the same year.

Her single became so popular that it was able to enter the Hot 100 in Billboard as 8th placer.  However, due to her provocative dances and costumes in her promotion of Can’t Be Tamed as compared to her previous performances, she became subject to media criticism.  Upon the release of her album, Cyrus has decided to take her time out of the limelight in music to spend more time on her movie career.

Sometime ago, Miley Cyrus singing voice revealed that since she has not taken any acting lesson in the past, so, she is considering to have it now with an acting coach.  At the same time, she also aims to continue her college studies if she has time.  She says that she firmly believes that a person can go back to college at any age just like her Grandma who did it at the age of 62.

However, she wants to focus more on her career as of now because she claims that she has worked hard for it.  She did her best to reach her present status, and she wants to enjoy it fully while she’s on the limelight.  Cyrus appeared in The Last Song on March, 2010, but received unfavorable reviews for her performance in such film.

However, it is ironic that the movie became successful, garnering a gross sales above $88 million in the box office worldwide.  Based on the statement of a box-office analyst, this movie serves as a remarkable transition of Miley Cyrus singing voice to adult roles.

An American singer, actress and songwriter rolled into one named Kelly Clarkson, whose full name is Kelly Brianne Clarkson, was born in April, 1982, in Texas.  After winning the 1st season of the TV series entitled American Idol in the year 2002, she had her debut with RCS Records.  To-date, Kelly has already released a total of 4 albums.

These include her double-platinum album entitled Thankful in 2003, her 2nd album in 2004 named Breakaway which is categorized as multi-platinum that won her 2 Grammy Awards, and her latest album entitled All I Ever Wanted.  These albums made 10.5 million sold copies in the US alone.  Kelly holds the pride of being the only American Idol winner who became top in the UK.  Her album, My Life Would Suck without You became number 1 on downloads in March, 2009.

Kelly Clarkson’s albums has sold more than 10.2 million copies in the US and more than 20 million copies worldwide which made her the top grosser Idol winner.  Nielsen SoundScan stated that Kelly’s records reached the top 200 hit sellers at rank 187.  Kelly’s vocal ability and talent gained praises from both celebrities and music critics alike.

In fact, when Simon Cowell was interviewed at Good Morning America, he had no 2nd thoughts to declare that Kelly has the best voice among the 6 American Idol winners when asked whom he thought is number 1.  He further stated that Kelly walked by a mile with great singers like Celine Dion. Beyonce Giselle Knowles is a famous American singer specializing in R&B, model, actress, song writer and record producer who is also mononymously known as Beyonce and the main person behind the Beyonce singing voice. Taylor Swift may have released only 2 albums although this 19 year old girl could be a revolutionary as far as the manner in which country music is concerned.  This has earned her the prestigious Entertainer of the year award at the Country Music Association or CMA awards this year. She has also got a Grammy award for her album ‘fearless’ which was the album of the year. Taylor also won the song and country album of the year. The eight accolades that she won were only surpassed by Beyonce who scooped ten awards. The third highest achiever on the night was Lady Gaga who had five awards.

Being the youngest ever holder of  the biggest prize on that night, Taylor Swift  is one among only  six females who have had the great opportunity to win the highest accolade, the other include Dixie Chicks, Shania Twain, Reba McIntire, Barbara Mandrell, dolly Parton amd Loretta Lynn.  A run down of Taylor Swift’s awards are as follows Video of the year for the song ‘Love Story” best female vocalist and her album fearless got the Album of the year. As the MTV Video Music Award or VMA’s was being aired, rapper/singer Kanye West stormed the stage and grabbed the microphone from Taylor while she was giving her acceptance speech. She had just been declared the winner for the Best Female Video award for the song ‘you belong to me’. West claimed that the song ‘Single Ladies’ by Beyonce which was nominated in the same category was among the best videos ever. This caused the audience to react negatively to this occurrence.

Scott Borchetta who is the Chief Executive Officer of Big Machine records which manages Taylor Swift spoke in support of the country star saying she deserved to win the award. He went on to discredit allegations that Taylor Swift’s performance with Steve Nicks at the Grammys was solid despite claims from certain quarters that it was off-key. “She is probable not the most technical singer, however she could be the most emotional singer and it seems as if people do not want much more than a singer who has only technical skills”. Borchetta said this to a reporter from the Tennessean. He further told the Associated Press “this isn’t American Idol. There is no competition for the person with the highest notes. It is all about genuine artistry, good writing and communication. This is not about perfectly technical performances”

The critics could be missing a great voice of this generation which is right there in front of their eyes. They could simply be jealous or are unable to comprehend this”, Borchetta added.  “Though it is obvious that the people she converses with have a certain bond. There is nobody who is perfect. It was probably not the best performance however it could well have been the greatest night.” In reference to the Album of the Year award for ‘Fearless’.

When all is said and done Taylor Swift’s voice while singing is very emotional and personal. Hayley Williams was born on 27 December 1988. She became and is still an American songwriter and rock singer in addition to being a keyboardist and the lead singer or vocalist of Paramore, a popular rock band.

At a young age of thirteen Williams moved out from her Meridian hometown, Mississippi in 2002 to Franklin in Tennessee. This is where she met her fellow band group members Zac Farro and Josh Farro while in school. After she had arrived, she started taking vocal classes taught by Brett Manning. She joined a group known as The Factory and this is where she met Davis Jeremy. In 2005, the founder of the Fueled by Ramen record label John Janick signed a music contract with The Factory.

In 2004 Hayley Williams joined fellow band members in Franklin, Tennessee to form Paramore.  Hayley Williams became the keyboardist and lead singer with Josh Farro as a backing vocalist / lead guitarist, Jeremy Davis as a bass guitarist and lastly Zac Farro as a drumist. Before the formation of Paramore, the rest of the band members were reluctant about the idea of having a Hayley Williams as the lead singer of the group. But since they were close friends, Williams started writing songs with them before she eventually became one of them. So far Paramore has now released 3 studio albums, which includes All We Know Is Falling and Riot, a single EP in addition to 2 live albums. Taylor York who is a rhythm guitarist was welcomed in to the band in June 2009 as an official Paramore band member, although he had been performing with the band as far as 2007. Brand new Eyes, the bands third album was released on 29 September 2009.

Hayley William says she owes her talents to Brett Manning who has been her vocal instructor since she began her career. Manning the creator of Singing Success started coaching Williams vocally since she was 13 years old. Williams said that before Manning started training her, she knew she was destined to be a professional singer, but she could not sing because she was shy. She progressed very quickly in her singing, however in the past years Hayley William singing success sky rocketed.

I love pop songs  since it involves variety of  modern and unique singing styles especially the “speech level singing”. There are various songs of pop singers I love to listen too. But, I personally preferred listening to my favored female pop singers’ songs. Here is my list of female pop singers…

All About the Contemporary Christian Singers

Today the Christian singing groups can be divided into several different types. One radio station may call it AC and yet another station may name it pop or contemporary or modern rock. The Dove company have several categories for such singers and the Grammy calls any song with Christian religious content as “Gospel”. The Christian singing groups to add to the confusion release songs which can fall in any one of these genre.

The A to Z Christian Artists List have listed each artist/band by name with a link to their style of singing with relevance to the Christian Music site. This makes it easier for you to locate your favorite artist without looking in all web sites.  .

Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) or alternately known as “Inspirational Music” is quite a popular style of music followed by people with no age or gender bar. The lyrics of these songs are mostly concerned with the Christian faith. There are several bands and solo singers who are famous for this style of singing. To name a few are the Nashville, Tennessee based pop/rock music industry with artists like Avalon, Barlow Girl, Jeremy Camp, Steven Chapman, David Crowder Band, Amy Grant, Jars of Clay, Mercy Me, News Boys and many more.

These artists and bands are advertised in Billboard Magazines as  ” Top Christian Albums” and   “Hot Christian Songs” and by Radio Stations and Records Magazine’s as Christian Adult Contemporary, Contemporary Hit Radio, Inspirational, Christian Rock and  Christian and Gospel genre in iTunes Store.

However not all music or songs with Christian faith content as lyrics come under Contemporary Christian Music. Many punk, holy hip-hop and hard core deal with detailed issues of the Christian faith, but they are not part of the Nashville music industry. Artists such as Bob Dylan, The Byrds, Lifehouse, and U2 have sung several songs with Christian faith lyric content, yet are not considered as CCM artists.
