If you want to be a successful professional singer, singing in a recording studio well is a skill that you really need to master. I am a professional singer and a former talent agent. I’ve sung in many venues, including on FOX TV. Based on my experiences, inconsistency is the biggest downfall of any singer in a studio. Singing a wide variety of songs with friends in your home is one thing, but, if you want to be comfortable singing in a recording studio, it will take time to be able to sing varied songs well.
