It’s All About Josh Groban Singing Skills
Josh Groban singing skill is like a time capsule. It’s a window back in time. These days, it seems that more and more artists with very little talent for singing are producing music. Whether they are rapping, screaming or just have a pretty face, they are popping up everywhere. Listening to a Josh Groban vocal is like a breath of fresh air, in comparison. It reminds us of the days when Sting, Stevie Wonder, Celine Dion and other talented singers ruled the airwaves. If artists such as Korn or Britney Spears had a fraction of Josh Groban singing skill, the radio might be much more pleasant to listen to.
Where did the Josh Groban singing skill in question come from, you ask? Well, Josh Groban has had a love of music since he was just a little boy. It wasn’t until he was in the seventh grade that he really started to sing seriously, though. In middle and high schools, Josh Groban loved to sing. Even then, everyone in his schools loved hearing a Josh Groban vocal. Unfortunately, his grades began to suffer, though. He took some time off from singing, in order to fix that. Once he graduated from high school, though, he was accepted to the theater department at Carnegie Mellon. There, the Josh Groban singing skill really began to take shape. After just a year, in fact, a friend of his vocal coach signed him to a recording contract.

He’s a musician’s musician!! I couldn’t believe my ears when I heard his first CD, and became hooked for life. The magic, though, is not the technical skills, or the ability to produce such a rich, soothing timbre, but the expression of emotion. That’s what made Caruso such a phenomenon, in my opinion, and what makes Josh (especially live) so compelling. He has the complete vocal package that mere mortals like me could never have: the voice, technical expertise, musicality, and expression! If I left anything out it’s because of my own ignorance, not because he is lacking!
