Hi! I was happy to find your wonderful article about Vitas on this very informative site. I wonder what country the author of the article is from. They do not seem like a native English speaker (although the English was very good). In any case, they author is very right about Vitas! He has an amazing voice – and it is not just that he can sing very high. The quality and tone of his voice is beautiful in all ranges. And it is true – language is no barrier- at least not with Vitas. The wonderous sound of his voice, and the emotion with which he sings, reaches to your soul.

When it comes to Vitas, language is no barrier because
1. His face and body language is so expressive, you can understand him without knowing any Russian
2. The incredible vocal range is so rare, when he sings so high it blows my mind, no brain left to think about lyrics.
He has such a unique style, it’s a breath of fresh air, very difficult to ‘classify’ like most other performers.

Hi! My name is Tatianna Raquel. I am the Vitas’ Brazilian fan. I love Vitas’ Russian-language songs because Vitas’ countertenor voice is great (and amazing!). I’m even learning Russian because of him! Five octaves above (his voice is high-pitched) and his voice is heavenly (wow!). And the Russian is as useful as 2 different languages (English and my native Portuguese). Vitas is the best Russian pop countertenor of all!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jg8Dnr7N58E “Opera 2″ is not even the best demonstration of his range. “Tibetan Plateau” has even higher notes.
