oh great! so we have an awesome-blossom dude who’s here to decide what should girls do and what they should not do. . .and the genres of those famous bands and i guess he knows them even better than those bands’ members! hahaha

i guess A7X is metal and hard rock, not alternative rock! and THE USED is rock and nu-metal. and what i know is that, we human beings have created all these genres and if they exist in this world, then ‘screamo’ is also a genre created by the same human beings and so does it exists in the same world and it came into existence with other genres like ‘emo’ and ‘hardcore-punk’ in the late 80s and early 90s! and if you still don’t get it, go listen to bands like ‘ASKING ALEXANDRIA’!!

So I think i got my basic scream down but its quiet. So when I try to put more power through it I have to cough. Am i doin something wrong or do my cords still need to get used to this kind of stuff?

its not that you did anything wrong. When you first start screaming, it will be sore, just like excersizing a muscle for the first time. You can continue screaming for a day or 2 and if it still feels sore, then stop and see if its wrong or not. If you want, i can give you my email so you can ask me any questions.

I want to improve my voice range from tenor to alto, even to mezzo-soprano, as well soprano. Though, my speaking voice is deep. But while singing people wonder if I’m really the one singing. While singing my voice sound like those of R.Kelly, Usher, Mario ,and Chris Brown. I’ll want to know how to improve my voice range better in order to sing without ease. Thanks.
