Writing songs is all about feeling which is why you were told to write a poem first. Poems are much like songs except without music they have feeling and a beat. All you need to do when writing a song is feel, feel and sing what your feeling, its odd but sometimes even singing randomly with a bad or good day can make you inspired to write a song just because of a certain line you heard yourself say.

Well David first you need to tell people you are a song writer, have you spread the words to your friends and family yet? Don’t be afraid to step up to the plate and ask people if they sing and if they say yes ask to hear it. You might just find a newbie singer you can write songs for and chase the dream together.

You sound very entergetic and happy keep that passion it will be your strong point and help you rise up. Don’t be to picky on a certain person to get discovered by, the sooner you debut the better it will be for you to get trained by good agencies and rise up. I’m not saying to have to low of a standered either, you don’t want to be stuck in a contract with a agency you can’t rise up in either. ALWAYS read the contract before signing it or better yet have your parents look at it.
