Stick to your goal… Be prepare for it…
In my opinion, you should develop the singing skill first… And there are lots of paths that can make you become a great superstar overnight, but the effort and the foundation to develop it needed lots of effort & time…
Look at David Cook, Jordan Spark, Kelly Clarkson & many other young superstars. You will know what you need to prepare from now.
Words of caution… Don’t over trained, since you’re too young & make sure to take a professional singing lessons to ensure you’re singing in the right methods without hurting your valuable vocal chord.

My name is Sedrick Pillow; I have developed a name a look personality for myself making my last name my middle; Lamont. I will be 16 years old this coming up September. I live in Nashville, TN. I’ve been trying to kick off my career early so that success will be easier to grab. I’ve had professional training and vocal lessons, and the only thing now I’m looking for is a fitness coach. But besides that point, I was wondering if I could ask of a little guidance. Now here in Nashville, they call this the music city but there is nothing but scams and con-artists here. I have not lucked up on one opportunity yet. I have one of the best vocal abilities ever at a young age, which is ability to riff and run, and I can also sing really deep. I have some trouble hitting high notes at times but I should know better because it’s out of my range. LOL.
I was wondering if you could recommend a way for me to find some music opportunities. I really want to make my parents proud of me. We are struggling right now and my parents are doing their best by my brother and I and I hate to see them struggle. I already go to singing lessons but only my mum and my singing teacher have heard me sing properly.
I dont really have any confidence as i think people will judge me and what people feedback to me means a lot.
I only have an hour every fortnight of a singing lesson but i sing almost everyday just for fun.
