Taylor Swift may have released only 2 albums although this 19 year old girl could be a revolutionary as far as the manner in which country music is concerned. This has earned her the prestigious Entertainer of the year award at the Country Music Association or CMA awards this year. She has also got a Grammy award for her album ‘fearless’ which was the album of the year. Taylor also won the song and country album of the year. The eight accolades that she won were only surpassed by Beyonce who scooped ten awards. The third highest achiever on the night was Lady Gaga who had five awards.
Being the youngest ever holder of the biggest prize on that night, Taylor Swift is one among only six females who have had the great opportunity to win the highest accolade, the other include Dixie Chicks, Shania Twain, Reba McIntire, Barbara Mandrell, dolly Parton amd Loretta Lynn.
