As a successful session singer, I have sung for many of Chris Huston’s projects, over the years.  In case you don’t know who Chris Huston is, Chris Huston has recorded with such artists as James Brow, Patti Labelle, Van Morrison, The Who, Blood Sweat and Tears and many more.  Why did Chris keep asking me back?  Well, it’s simple.  As a successful session singer, I learned to have a “How can I help you today?” attitude, rather than a “How can you help me today?” attitude.  So one of the successful session singer tips I have to offer you is to adopt that sort of attitude.  It’ll take you far in life.  If you are nice to others, nice things are bound to happen to you.

How to Become a Successful Session Singer – Part1

Being a successful session singer isn’t easy.  I have spent years doing session singing. In that time, I used to wonder why some people were even there.  On the other hand, there were times that I really enjoyed singing with the people I was working with.
