Have you ever wondered how to increase your vocal range? Well, the answer is yes! You see, some people enjoy singing, but find it impossible to hit the high notes. If you are one of those people, you probably listen to professional singers and think that they are amazing and you will never be half as good at singing as they are, but, in reality, it is easy to improve your vocal range and sing like a pro, if you know where to begin.
Basically, to learn how to increase vocal range, you must learn the 2 muscle coordination’s that allow you to sing in your higher vocal registers. These registers are called:-
• Head voice
• Mixed voice
In order for you to be in that select group of people who can easily hit a higher vocal range, you need to learn which muscles control your higher vocal registers, known as head voice and mixed voice. Using your mixed voice properly is really the primary issue. Your mixed voice will allow you to sing higher notes, but with the richness and fullness you usually sing lower notes. That means, essentially, that you will no longer sing in a falsetto or nasal sounding voice when you try to sing notes in a higher vocal range. If you’ve tried vocal range extension exercises in the past, only to get a sore throat and many wasted hours for your trouble, you may think vocal warm-ups are a waste of time. However, if you use the right vocal warm-ups and vocal training tips, you can be singing high notes easier in no time at all.
Once you understand some simple vocal warm-ups and vocal training tips, singing in your upper vocal registers will become so easy that it’s automatic. You’ll wonder why you were unable to do so before. Your vocal chords will easily adjust to allow you to continue singing higher notes.
The first step is to understand the science behind reaching the best possible vocal range. It is not as simple as some people have talent and others do not. While it may be true that some people take to singing a bit easier than others, anyone can sing better if they learn how to increase vocal range with the right exercise to the right muscle groups. Most people do not know that, so they continually have trouble hitting those elusive high notes when they sing.
Here is the video showing you how to increase vocal range with the head voice and mixed voice in detail.
So, as you can see, starting out with a good foundation of vocal warm-ups and vocal training tips is key to singing in a higher vocal range. Just remember, you need to find the vocal exercises that will help you to strengthen and control the proper muscles. So, learn the proper vocal exercises and sing as much as you want without worrying about damaging your vocal chords, losing your voice or hurting the ears of those around you by singing off key. Once you can control your larynx and vocal chords better, you can hit all those high notes and have learn all the theories on how to increase your vocal range easily!

how can you get a high note like mariah carey?
You mean the notes that only dolphins can hear?
Well, Mrs. Mimi has these nodules on her vocal chords. Nodules are bumps. They allow her to have a 5 octave vocal range!! She is a natural alto but she uses a part of her vocal chords that nobody else uses. The very top. This allows her to be able to go into the whistle range. A range not many people are able to reach!
i m a boy but having a thin voice like girl can u tell me how to make my voice heavy like boys have…..

Have you ever wondered how to increase your vocal range? Well, the answer is yes!! …not really a yes or no question…
Sir
I wanna sing like some K pop star. Their voices are so cool. I wanna sing a song like this. How could I make it . Please tell me sir .
I am in choir and I can sing pretty okay, but I want to perform this song by adele, its called rolling in the deep and I can hit the low notes fine because i am in alto in choir, but i have trouble hitting the high notes like the chorus…my voice starts to crack, i can sing it, but my voice cracks and it just doesn’t sound too pretty. Any tips to improve that?
Thanks!
Try to sing in head voice / even mixed voice. I’m sure you will be hitting high notes easier without cracking your voice.
I’m a tenor in a doo-wop quartet. I can hit some pretty high notes full voice before going into falsetto with ease and strength. However, there are still a few notes that I can’t quite hit. What tips can you give me to be able to reach those few notes I struggle to reach?
I want to extend my range I think its something like 2 and a half octaves including folsto bad I know I can reach my head voice but I feel I can go higher but my throat won’t let me any advice how to over come this and increase my range
Well, im a tenor, and i can sing beautifully, and im thinking on going on American idol, And i so want to learn how to sing like Christina Aguilera. She has a powerful voice. I took lessons ever since i was 6 and im 17 now. I want to make my music career shine, i can belt some notes out very well, but i want to know how to sustain it. If you can help, i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
Basically, there are 2 things that lead to the unstable and unsustainable tenor voice. 1) Tremendous breath pressure on chest. 2) Unstable voice once reach higher notes / baritone notes.
These 2 factors are related to each other. Once you had reach higher notes or even baritone / bass notes (counter tenor), the major cause of this problem is that you will pressure the air flow through your chest. But your voice will break if you’re singing in that way. The 2nd possibility is that you not using the head voice properly while singing certain notes in tenor.
Here is my suggestion. Singing from your diaphragm:Try not to stain / put any pressure on your chest while singing to enable enough air flow produced from your diaphragm. And also try to learn how to sing in “Mix” voice to improve your flexibility and stability in notes changing / flowing.
