I want to improve my voice range from tenor to alto, even to mezzo-soprano, as well soprano. Though, my speaking voice is deep. But while singing people wonder if I'm really the one singing. While singing my voice sound like those of R.Kelly, Usher, Mario ,and Chris Brown. I'll want to know how to improve my voice range better in order to sing without ease. Thanks.

To properly sing in the whistle register you use neither the chest or mixed voice.
Those who tend to use the chest voice could develop a scratchy or horsed voice which can then lead to permanent damage.
I learned to sing from low tenor to soprano 2nd by using my mixed voice for at least 4 weeks to create a whistle by then using my superhead voice.
It is a voice that comes mostly from the head, and not so much from a struggled lung and vocal cord.
